But how do you deal with the sound the celery makes when you cut it?The meat's already dead, so I can deal with the zombie moaning and screaming that the pork chops and hot dogs make. But when I go to the garden, and rip the vegetables out of the ground still alive -- the screams are horrifying.Have you ever heard a green onion beg for mercy for it's children when you saw it in half to get some seasoning for your soup? I'd gladly trade those horrors for a simple conversation with a hot dog.
therac-25, you need to buy your LSD from a different supplier. Hot dogs should be the only food talking back.
Ahh, that might be the problem. I got mine from Switzerland.I figured that any culture that makes chocolate that good could do no wrong.
The more I read your blog, the more the ordinary, mundane objects of the world all seem predestined to serve as props for a Bizarro cartoon.
I seem to have the same experience when I eat a Bizarro comic.
i think you have other problem when meat talks to you.
seemed like a good reason to eat meat and meat by products to me
Is therac-25 one of the Arrogant Worms?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmK0bZl4ILM
Whether you literally hear a hotdog scream, or just have the empathy, reason and understanding that the meat you eat probably did scream at one point, as it was being put to death for your culinary pleasure, it is a point well made - with or without the acid-induced perspective.I wish more people would hear their food scream.More acid for everyone!
